Pulsed Electromagnetic Field (PEMF) technology safely pulses electromagnetic fields at specific frequencies through the body. These frequencies are similar to Earth’s PEMF and are resonant with the frequencies the body and brain require for cellular function. Far-infrared technology works by safely penetrating the skin with healthy doses of deep heat. Raising the body's temperature aids the function of many processes, including detoxification, circulation, metabolism, muscle and joint symptom relief and more.

It's essential to differentiate between near-infrared (NIR) and far-infrared (FIR) light therapy. While NIR penetrates only a few millimetres beneath the skin's surface, FIR emits longer wavelengths, typically between 3000 and 100,000 nm, and produces heat. FIR therapy is often used in saunas to induce sweating, detoxify the body and promote relaxation. On the other hand, NIR therapy focuses on tissue repair and pain relief without the same heating effect.

The Infrared temperature is between 30℃-70℃. When using the heat settings for the first time, ease into it by setting the mat to a low temperature and gradually increasing it to a temperature that suits you personally.

If the Infrared heat temperature is high, do not allow babies, small children or animals to make contact with the product as this could cause burns.

While using the mat, you can enjoy relaxing, meditating, stretching, breathwork, yoga or a light workout.

PEMF is safe for most people to use. However, because the pulsed electromagnetic field passes through the body, do not use this product if you have any implanted electronic devices (e.g., pacemakers, defibrillators or insulin supply systems) or have epilepsy.

There are limited studies on PEMF and pregnancy, so we do not recommend using the product if you are pregnant. If you are not sure if you are suitable to use the mat, speak to your health specialist.

The top layer of the Infrared PEMF mat contains thousands of tiny natural crystals covered by mesh. The mat is firm, but softens over time with use.

You can lay a soft blanket or mattress topper over our mats as this doesn't interfere with the PEMF or infrared heat.

Self-care should be easily incorporated into the everyday routine, as consistency is key! So, we recommend using the mats as often as possible (3-7 days per week) or when you feel you need an extra dose of cellf-care!

You can store the mat unfolded; however, if you are wanting to fold and store the mat, fold it the same way you received it.

Place the mat in its carry bag and store it in a safe, dry and ventilated place with no heavy items that could damage it.

Do not store the mat in a high temperature, humid or dusty environment.

When cleaning the mat, disconnect from the power source and wipe off any dust with a slightly dampened soft cloth. Do not wash the mat with water directly. Do not use chemicals for cleaning.

To avoid damaging the mat, do not use the mat in direct sunlight for long periods of time. The mat should be kept away from flammable items, high temperatures and liquids. If you plan to get a light sweat on during your mat session (either by using the infrared or doing a light workout), place a towel over the mat.
